In a bizarre partnership that defies conventional expectations, Ubisoft has revealed an digital partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, offering complimentary bonus story content for Shadows players.

Strange Adventure Revealed

According to the authorized statement, "A strange meeting pulls protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a original adventure, where hints of prohibited ceremonies and monstrous changes reverberate through the darkness." The narrative features a "strangely garbed woman named Ada" who charges the pair with journeying into the Crystalline Cavern—a key location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a clandestine cult.

The adventure centers on "strange trials and a monstrous adversary" and is open to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Places and Metamorphoses

The preview showcases the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was formerly where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The teaser concludes with a striking scene showing a character, probably the hostage, morphing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Prizes and Extra Features

Players who successfully complete the quest will receive an unique katana together with numerous artifacts hidden throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also contains premium Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
